My name is Jackson Jewett; I graduated from UC Berkeley in 2013, and I am currently completing a PhD program in Structural Engineering at MIT in the Carstensen Group. I like to build things and experiment. I am especially interested in topology optimization for civil engineering applications. My hope is to combine the tools of structural engineering with new fabrication and analysis technologies to promote innovation in the built environment. I also like to run, cycle, play board games, and cook.
